Within our Learning Support department, we have a team of LSAs that are valued members of the School community and carry out vital roles. They are respected for the expertise they bring to their area of work. The successful candidate may be asked to provide hygiene support with intimate care, for which appropriate support and training will be given.The start date will be subject to satisfactory clearances/references) and is 32.5 hours per week 08:15-15:15 with half hour unpaid lunch break. LSAs work term time only, including 5 INSET days. The salary range is Bristol Grade 6 (BG6) currently £26,847 rising to £27,274 (gross per annum paid pro rata plus holiday pay). The contract is fixed term initially until 31 August 2027 and is subject to a 6-month probationary period.Our SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator) manages the LSA team, supported by two Deputy SENDCos and two specialist teachers. LSAs are expected to undertake a 30-minute duty during the school lunch break. These duties include working with students and lunchtime supervision in the Learning Support Base and wider school.Our ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under their own initiative and as part of a whole school team.
