Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Duties:

• Provide support to students in EYFS, SEN, KS1, KS2, Primary, and Nursery settings
• Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Work with teachers to implement individualised education plans
• Support students with special educational needs to access the curriculum
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

Education:

• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare

Experience:

• Experience working with students with special educational needs
• Experience in supporting learning across different age groups

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of EYFS, SEN, and Primary curriculum
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Good organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• Additional training in specific areas such as Autism Awareness or Makaton
