The role
- 1:1 Student Support: Provide personalised support to students with additional needs in the classroom.
- The school seeks a Learning Support Assistant who will be enthusiastic, passionate, and caring.
- Providing support and guidance to students with various learning needs and assistance with personal care, moving, and handling with hoists.
- Delivering support to children aged 2 to 19 on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Building trustworthy and lasting relationships with students, enabling them to thrive.

Candidate Requirements
- Be flexible.
- Ideally have own transport or close public transport links.
- Experience with small group and 1:1 support is beneficial.
- Friendly and nurturing qualities.
- Competent behaviour management skills.
- Experience supporting children and young adults with diverse needs such as PMLD, MLD, ADHD, ADD, ASD, Global Delay, VI, HI, SEMH.
- Preferably have moving and handling training or recent experience.
- Patience and caring nature.
- Desire to work with children with SEND.
- Willing to undertake CPD training.

Salary
£445-£470 per week, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
