Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd. is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in a specialist educational setting in the UK. This full-time, long-term role starts immediately and emphasises nurturing, inclusivity, and pupil wellbeing.

Recent Ofsted findings recognised the setting as Good, with strengths in education quality, behaviour, personal development, and leadership. You will work with children who may have emotional needs, supporting teachers and contributing to a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting pupils with emotional or additional learning needs desirable.
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Confident supporting children who may be anxious or require additional reassurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
