We are seeking Learning Support Assistants to join our inclusive education community. Whether you are experienced in supporting high-needs learners or providing general classroom assistance, we have a place for your expertise.

These roles are about more than classroom assistance; they are about empowering students to master the skills they need for life. You will be a key point of support, blending patience with strategy to ensure our learners are ready for the world beyond the college gates.

Benefits
  • Great Work-Life Balance: Term-time only, strictly Monday to Friday (08:30 - 16:00) with no weekend or evening shifts.
  • Unmatched Flexibility: Full-time or part-time options, we build a working timetable around your personal commitments.
  • Supportive Culture: Collaborate with expert practitioners and receive dedicated 1:1 support from your specialist consultant throughout your placement.
  • Professional Growth: Gain valuable Post-16 SEND experience, ideal for future educators, therapists, or social workers, plus access to free CPD training.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff to differentiate and modify curriculum resources, including supporting students during active sessions and community-based trips.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities by recording support interactions constructively, helping the college maintain statutory records for EHCP annual reviews.
Requirements

We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. All appointments are subject to satisfactory vetting, including a right to work check and, where relevant, an enhanced DBS, PVG (Scotland), or EWC (Wales) check, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
