Oxford Outcomes is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to enhance education for students with special needs. This role requires a hands-on approach to promote learning in a supportive environment. Salary: £20,906.25 per annum
Location: School For Inspiring Talents, Devon, TQ12 1NH
Contract: Permanent; Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm

As a Learning Support Assistant based at our Newton Abbot / Ashburton school(s), you will be a key member of our team, enhancing the education of our students. This is a great opportunity in a growing school with excellent opportunities to build experience working with young people with Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).
The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference. You will be expected to lead the teaching of and coordinate flexible, person-centred programmes of study for individuals and groups of pupils. You should demonstrate a practical, hands-on approach to teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond for the young people we support.
School for Inspiring Talents (SfIT) is an independent day school supporting vulnerable young people aged 5-16 who face behavioral, emotional, and educational challenges, including those on the autistic spectrum, with additional difficulties such as sensory processing and attachment disorders.
Our goal is for every student to achieve their full potential academically and personally. We provide an alternative to residential education, fostering independence and social skills within a supportive day school environment.
