Houldsworth Valley Primary Academy in Newmarket is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children with Communication and Interaction needs within our Hub. The role is 32.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2027, starting in October 2026.
You will work under the supervision of the teacher to provide support for teaching and learning and related activities, attending to personal and social needs to aid pupil development.

As the successful candidate, you will work under the supervision of the teacher to provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. This may include providing general support for whole class learning activities, or supporting individuals or small groups of pupils. To attend to the personal and social needs of pupils in order to support their learning and development.
