Job summary

Unity Schools Partnership is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our successful and popular school.

The role involves supporting pupils to access learning and achieve positive outcomes, delivering targeted small-group interventions in literacy, numeracy and social development, and providing one-to-one support including SEMH, personal care or medical needs in line with individual plans.

Contract: Permanent, Part Time, 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Required as soon as possible

Full or Part time considered Monday to Friday (08.30 am - 16.00 pm).

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our successful and popular school.

The successful candidate will:

Support pupils to access learning and achieve positive outcomes.

Deliver targeted small-group interventions, including support for literacy, numeracy, and social development.

Provide one-to-one support where required, which may include supporting pupils with SEMH needs, personal care, or medical needs, in line with individual support plans.

We are looking for someone who:

Is able to work independently while contributing positively to a strong team ethos.

Is flexible and responsive to the changing needs of pupils and the school.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Uses initiative and problem-solving skills to support pupils effectively.

Brings warmth, resilience, and a sense of humour to the role.
