Vision for Education is seeking a motivated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join a fast-paced, well-regarded primary school in Monmouth. The school is known for its strong focus on pupil progress, staff development, and inclusive values.

Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm) and part-time positions available.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils aged 3–11. Your role will involve providing one-to-one and small group support for children with additional learning needs, promoting positive behaviour, and helping create an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with additional learning needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
Encourage pupil independence and offer personal care support where needed
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Assist in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing school environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience in education, care, or support work
A calm, patient, and positive approach to working with children
Confidence in managing behaviour positively and supportively
Ability to work well as part of a team
A willingness to learn strategies to support pupils with additional needs
A valid driving licence and access to transport (desirable but not essential)
