We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a secondary school based in Clevedon that caters for students between the ages of 11 and 18 who have a primary diagnosis of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, which impacts the way they learn, communicate and process emotions.
The school are looking for someone to come in and support them in the classroom, with their education and ensure that they are able to access their learning in ways that are beneficial to them. Your role will involve engaging with them and ensuring that they are receiving a good blend of their education and interventions.
Each of the children have special interventions in place to support their emotions and well-being, while also ensuring that they are coping with their education.
The school looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting learning difficulties and mental health needs. They want someone to come in build positive relationships with the students, which will in turn allow for a safe and engaging environment where learning will flow.
