Job summary

East Coast College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support education and learning within Further Education, helping to optimise engagement, progression and achievement across our Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses.

You will work with a range of students across Curriculum Areas, understand individual needs, and collaborate with tutors to drive learning outcomes and student success. The role supports safeguarding and requires flexibility across campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with a wide range of learning and/or physical needs.
• Support learning across classroom, workshop, work experience, trips and visits.
• Willing to work across campuses and commit to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

The SEND Team here at East Coast College are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join them in providing invaluable support to both students and staff, and optimise engagement, progression, and achievement across both our Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses.

Within the SEND Team, you will be able to make excellent use of the support, knowledge, and experience available, and work with a variety of students across a range of Curriculum Areas. Your ability to understand and respect individual student needs, and work closely with tutors to identify learning outcomes will help to drive student success and achievement.
