Job summary

East Coast College seeks a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join the SEND Team, supporting students and staff to optimise engagement, progression, and achievement across the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses.

You will work with a range of learners, collaborate with tutors to identify learning outcomes, and contribute to safeguarding and personal development initiatives within the college community.

• SEND - Experience of working with a wide range of learning and/or physical needs
• Support learning – Classroom, workshop, work experience, trips, and visits

The SEND Team here at East Coast College are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join them in providing invaluable support to both students and staff, and optimise engagement, progression, and achievement across both our Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses.

Within the SEND Team, you will be able to make excellent use of the support, knowledge, and experience available, and work with a variety of students across a range of Curriculum Areas. Your ability to understand and respect individual student needs, and work closely with tutors to identify learning outcomes will help to drive student success and achievement.
