Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across Brigg and the surrounding area, supporting primary pupils with additional learning needs. You may provide 1:1 support, work with small groups or assist with classroom activities, depending on school requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting primary-aged children or young people in a school setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with SEND, 1:1 support, interventions or small-group work welcomed.
• The ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils.
• Good communication and behaviour management skills.
• A patient, supportive and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pupil engagement and progress alongside class teachers.
• Provide 1:1 support, small-group work or classroom assistance as needed.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs according to school requirements.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and other school staff to help pupils engage with their learning and make progress. Depending on the needs of the school, you may provide 1:1 support, work with small groups, assist with classroom activities or support pupils with additional learning needs.

We are interested in hearing from experienced Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants and individuals with relevant experience supporting children or young people. Opportunities can range from flexible day-to-day work to short and long-term placements.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who have:
