Job summary

Capel St Mary CE VC Primary School in Capel St Mary, Ipswich, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils with special educational needs. The role involves in-class, one-to-one and small group work and may include 30 minutes at lunch.

You will need a caring nature, good English and mathematics skills (GCSE or equivalent); experience with SEND would be beneficial. This is a part-time, fixed-term role until 31 August 2027, term time only.

Capel St Mary CE VC Primary School are seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with our committed, forward-thinking team, to support the learning of pupils with special educational needs. The role will require creativity, flexibility and a good understanding of how to meet pupils’ needs.

The role will involve a mixture of in-class, one to one and small group work with pupils with a range of different needs. The role may include an additional 30 minutes supervision at lunch time.

A caring nature and ability to work with children is essential. Experience of working with pupils with special educational and behavioural needs would be beneficial.
