The Beeches Community Primary School in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 2 with personalised Special Educational Needs provision and high-quality classroom assistance.

The role is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027, 39 weeks per year, with a salary of £25,185 - £25,989 per annum pro rata. Applicants should have GCSE C or equivalent and ideally a Level 3 Early Years qualification, with strong English and Maths skills.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Learning Support Assistant, who has experience in Key Stage 2 (ages 8-11). This a varied role which includes delivering personalised Special Educational Needs support to individuals and small groups of children as well as providing high-quality classroom support.

You will need to:
  • relish the challenge of supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school
  • work with dynamic, forward-thinking staff with high aspirations for our children
  • be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice, behaviour, management and high expectations
  • be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities
  • have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and a Level 3 Early Years qualification would be preferable.
