Job summary

The Beeches CP School in Ipswich is seeking a part-time lunchtime supervisor to cover daily midday breaks (12:00–13:10) during term time. The role requires prior experience with primary-aged pupils, positive communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a team to ensure a safe, caring lunchtime environment.

Salary is Grade 2 Point 3 (£24,796 pro-rata) with an hourly rate of £12.85. The position is term-time only, with a midday schedule and anticipated start date soon after

Qualifications

  • Experience with primary-aged pupils is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate positively with pupils and staff, including safeguarding.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; follow instructions and take initiative.
  • Flexibility in lunchtime supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtimes (12:00–13:10).
  • Support pupils in a caring, safe environment.
  • Work as part of the school team to promote wellbeing and behaviour.
  • Assist with general lunchtime supervision duties as required.

  • - has flexibility in their approach to lunch time supervision
