Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant at a primary school in Lambeth near Streatham Common. The role supports pupils with additional learning needs, working one-to-one or in small groups, and helps pupils engage with lessons.

What Will Your Role Look Like?

As a Learning Support Assistant, you may be working one:to:one with an individual pupil, supporting small groups or assisting within the classroom, depending on the needs of the children.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
  • Delivering structured small:group activities and interventions
  • Helping children access lessons through adapted resources and targeted support
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and emotional development
  • Building trusting, professional relationships with pupils
  • Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and other support staff

The role will provide genuine variety, with the Learning Support Assistant becoming an important and valued part of the wider school team.
