Job summary

Babington House School in Kent is seeking an outstanding Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will provide dedicated classroom support and 1-2-1 SEN support across the school to help pupils achieve their potential.

The role is fixed-term for one year, term-time only, Monday to Friday 08.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m., with a paid lunch break. A Level 3 childcare certificate and school experience are required; you will be committed and enthusiastic with a passion for childcare.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school setting.
  • Commitment and enthusiasm for childcare and pupil welfare.
  • Ability to work within a strong learning support team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated classroom support and 1-2-1 SEN support in and outside the classroom.
  • Deliver interventions to assist pupils and contribute to a happy, safe learning environment.

About this Role

We are currently seeking an outstanding Learning Support Assistant to start in September. You will be part of our strong dynamic learning support team, providing high quality support across the school.

The position will provide dedicated classroom support as well as dedicated 1-2-1 SEN support in a classroom setting and via interventions. You will have experience of working with children in a School and hold a level 3 childcare certificate. In addition, you will be committed and enthusiastic with a passion for childcare, ensuring our pupils are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

This will be a fixed term contract for one year. The working pattern will be Monday to Friday 08.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. Term-time only which includes a paid lunch break.
