Long Term Futures is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets, E3. This full-time opportunity involves supporting students with a range of learning needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), while also providing general classroom assistance to help lessons run smoothly.
We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience supporting young people in secondary schools. However, applicants with relevant transferable experience from residential care, youth support or similar settings working with secondary-aged young people will also be considered. This position offers a long-term opportunity with the potential to progress into permanent employment.
Experience supporting students with SEN, including those who require additional help with learning, communication or emotional regulation, would be particularly beneficial. Familiarity with secondary school routines and classroom expectations is also advantageous, although applicants with suitable transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
