Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in London is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant (Personal Care) to support students with SEN, including those needing personal care. Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, care, healthcare backgrounds.
• Comfortable supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff.
• Willingness to undertake training and CPD.
• Experience with ASD, PMLD or similar needs.
• Moving & Handling/Hoist training is beneficial.
• Background in care, support work or health is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, changing, mobility).
• Support students with communication and emotional regulation.
• Work with teachers to adapt learning activities.
• Use specialist equipment where required (hoists, sensory tools).
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
• Monitor and record student progress.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with

special educational needs (SEN), including those requiring

personal care.

This is a rewarding role working closely with pupils who may have

autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or physical disabilities, helping them access education and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide
• 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
• Assist with
• personal care needs (toileting, feeding, changing, mobility support)
• Support students with communication and emotional regulation
• Work alongside teachers to adapt learning activities
