Job summary

REESON Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Slough to start in November 2026. This full-time, long-term role offers a daily pay of £100–£115.

You will work with the class teacher and support pupils with literacy, numeracy and SEND needs, delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions, helping children access the curriculum and build confidence.

Qualifications

• The school is looking for someone who is patient, proactive and supportive, with the ability to build strong relationships with children.
• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant would be advantageous. Graduates with relevant experience working with children will also be considered.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs or other SEND would be particularly beneficial.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant who enjoys building positive relationships with pupils and helping them overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

Working alongside the class teacher and wider support team, you will provide targeted support to pupils throughout the school day, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their confidence and independence.
