Job summary

Career Teachers is recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary and secondary SEND school in Slough. The role runs 08:30–16:00, Monday to Friday, and includes support for pupils with PMLD, SLD and Autism in a structured environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with complex needs, be patient and collaborative, and be committed to safeguarding pupil wellbeing. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with weekly pay and a supportive leadership team.

• Can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Primary and Secondary SEND School – Slough

We are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated and supportive Special Educational Needs school in Slough, ASAP start.

The school supports Primary and secondary-aged pupils with PMLD, SLD and Autism, providing a safe, structured and inclusive environment where pupils’ individual needs are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00
• Support pupils with ASD and complex needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Assist with learning activities, communication support and personal care where required
• Implement strategies set out in EHCPs alongside class teachers and therapists
• Help create a calm, positive and engaging learning environment
