Job summary

Career Teachers seeks dedicated Teaching Assistants for a SEN school in Epsom. You will support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access learning, communication, and social development.

Join a warm, inclusive team where you assist teachers to deliver engaging lessons, promote independence and positive behaviour. Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Location: Epsom, Surrey

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Role: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

About the Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.


• Assist students with their learning, communication, and social development.


• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.


• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.


• Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (cost £59.50).
