Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support Department of a Portsmouth area school. You will support students with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, in class and in small groups to promote independence and confidence.

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, helping students access learning content and develop essential study skills in a positive, inclusive environment.

• Experience supporting young people with additional needs (education, care, youth work, or similar settings).
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long Term

Salary: £88 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: 08:40 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
