Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support Department of a sixth form college in the Southampton area. You will support students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD and dyslexia, in classroom and small-group settings to access learning and build independence.

The role runs full-time, initially until the end of October, with a strong likelihood of extension for the right candidate. Competitive daily pay varies with experience.

Salary: £88 £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08 00, Monday to Friday
Location: Southampton Area

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support Department of an outstanding sixth form college in the Southampton area. The college is renowned for its inclusive approach, exceptional student support, and commitment to helping young people achieve their academic potential in a positive and supportive environment.

In this role, you will support students aged with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. Working closely with teaching staff and the Learning Support team, you will provide in-class support, help students access learning effectively, and encourage independence and confidence throughout their college journey.

This is a full-time position running initially until the end of October, with a high possibility of being extended for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing
