Job summary

The Rose Learning Trust is seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant to join Woodfield Primary School in Doncaster. The role supports pupils across Key Stage 2, with flexibility to work across classes as required.

The post is fixed term term time only, commencing asap and lasting until 31 August 2027, with opportunities for permanent progression within the trust. You will contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment and to pupils' social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and ready to contribute energy to the classroom.
• Have a good level of general education with English and Maths at GCSE C (4) or above as essential.
• Experience of working with children and forming positive relationships.
• Understand the needs of pupils and adapt practice to support learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities across the school.
• Support pupils with their social and emotional development and well-being.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and high standards of conduct.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff across the school to support student progress.

Hours: Term Time Only (44.058 weeks), 32.5 hrs per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30min lunch break as directed

Woodfield Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and organised professional to play a key role in our school. A vacancy exists for a hardworking and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our school. Currently this academic year the requirement is for an LSA predominantly in Keys Stage 2 but it should be noted that LSAs are employed to work across the school as required.

• Have a good level of general education - English and Maths at GCSE C (4) or above is essential
• Use their initiative to work independently and flexibly.
• Have experience of working with children.
• Enjoy working with children and forms good relationships with both children and adults.
• Understand the importance of meeting the social and emotional needs of children.
• Have experience and/or knowledge of adaptive practice in meeting the needs of pupils with SEND.
