Supply Desk in Borehamwood is hiring a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school this September. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality classroom support to pupils and helping them reach their full potential.

You will work with teachers and other staff to deliver engaging activities, support students with additional learning needs including SEND, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Weekly pay is provided, and DBS checks are supported.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Pay: £85-£110 per day

Supply Desk are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Borehamwood area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality classroom support, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils. Experience supporting students with additional learning needs, including SEND, is desirable but not essential.

You will play a key role in supporting students both within the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping to build confidence, encourage independence, and promote positive learning behaviours. You will also work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals where required to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed.
