Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for the Croxley Green area to work with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential. The role suits those with experience or those starting a career in education in a welcoming school environment.

You will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with lessons, promote inclusive learning and monitor progress, under safeguarding guidelines, with weekly pay and CPD

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students across a range of year groups and abilities.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Promote student independence, confidence and wellbeing throughout the school day.

About the Role

Supply Desk are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Croxley Green area. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Learning Support Assistants, as well as individuals looking to begin or develop a career in education within a supportive and rewarding school environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
