Job summary

East Kent College is seeking a Learning and Skills Coach to support students in English, maths, study skills and digital skills. You will work one-to-one and in small groups, delivering engaging sessions and collaborating with a team of coaches across the College.

The role focuses on unlocking students' potential through tailored interventions, tracking progress, and helping learners develop crucial academic and digital competencies for their future careers.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and creative in session design.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse students.
• Ability to assess and adapt sessions for individual and small-group needs.
• Passion for improving literacy, numeracy, study and digital skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-to-one and in small groups.
• Deliver sessions on English, maths, study skills and digital skills.
• Assess and track student progress to plan interventions.
• Collaborate with the coaching team to cover different aspects of the provision.
