Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a full-time Learning Partner to support primary-aged pupils with SEN in a specialist resource base in North Bristol. The role focuses on helping children with speech, language and communication needs, working closely with teachers and SEN professionals.

The role emphasises 1:1 and small-group support, using visual resources to boost expressive and receptive communication, and promoting participation and positive interactions in a supportive environment.

Are you passionate about helping children develop their communication, confidence and independence?

We are recruiting a full-time Learning Partner to support primary-aged pupils within a specialist resource base in North Bristol.

You'll work with children who may experience speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) alongside other areas of SEN.

The role:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEN support
• Helping children develop their expressive and receptive communication
• Supporting pupils to understand instructions and classroom routines
• Using visual and communication resources
• Encouraging positive interaction with adults and peers
• Supporting learning through structured, accessible activities
• Working alongside teachers and SEN professionals

This could particularly suit someone with experience in SEN, Early Years, speech and language support or communication-focused roles.

You'll need to be warm, patient and creative in finding different ways to help children communicate and participate.
