Job summary

Sladewood Academy is seeking a Learning Partner to support teaching and learning within classes, focusing on pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. The role requires enthusiasm, hard work and a passion for providing high quality learning to maximise each pupil's potential.

You will work primarily on-site, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements discussed at interview and a commitment to safeguarding and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils in Early Years settings.
• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff with the development and education of pupils, including those with complex needs.
• Help maximise pupils' potential through high quality learning experiences.

Job description

About you

The successful applicant should have a passion for working with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities and be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant qualification. You may be working in a similar role and have experience with Early Years, such as a Senior Learning Support Worker. You will be responsible for supporting teaching staff with their responsibility for the development and education of pupils, some of whom may have a complex range of special needs.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Partner to join our dedicated and friendly team. The main purpose of the Learning Partner is to support teaching and learning within classes. The role requires enthusiasm, hard work and a passion for supporting high quality learning to maximise a pupil's potential.
