Job summary

East Harptree and Ubley Primary Schools are seeking a part-time Learning Partner to support learning across both schools. The role is 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–13:00, term-time only and includes 5 inset days, with a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027.

The post will work under the direction of class teachers or the SENDCo to support learning across the schools. Start date 2 November 2026.

Job description

Learning Partner Hours: 22.5 hours Monday to Friday 08.30 - 13.00 / Term Time only to include 5 inset days Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2027 Salary: Grade JG4, SCP 7-11 (£27,274 - £29,071) Actual Salary: £14,567.97 - £15,527.81 per annum Start Date: 2 November 2026 The Role:East Harptree and Ubley Primary Schools are seeking to appoint a part-time Learning Partner supporting the learning of children across the schools. The role is to work flexibly as part of a team, under the direction of class teachers or the SENDCo to provide teaching and learning support to pupils, teachers and the wider school community.

Our School :

Our school is a special place where everyone is encouraged to; Dream, Believe, Achieve Together. East Harptree Primary School is a small, friendly rural village school, and it plays a hugely important role in serving isolated village communities. We have close links with the local church community and the Diocese of Bath and Wells and work closely with Ubley Primary School as a supportive collaboration of two rural schools. Parental support is good and there is a highly supportive PTA Committee.

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 33 schools in the Trust. The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools.
