Job summary

Whitchurch Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Partner to support Teaching & Learning across the school. The role is 24 hours 20 minutes per week over four days, with hours 08:40–15:15 (unpaid lunch 30 minutes). Term time plus 2 inset days, fixed-term to 31 August 2027.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of class Teachers or the SENDCO, providing learning support to pupils and collaborating with staff and parents to raise attainment and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Teaching & Learning in schools.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Strong organisation and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Teaching & Learning support to pupils.
  • Assist class teachers and SENDCO in delivering learning activities.
  • Support learning for individuals, groups or the whole class as required.
  • Contribute to a flexible, inclusive classroom environment.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Partner to join our friendly team here at Whitchurch Primary School. To work 4 days per week, must include Monday and Friday, other days to be agreed. The role is to work flexibly as part of a team under the direction of our class Teachers or the SENDCO to provide Teaching & Learning support to pupils, teachers and the wider school community.
