Job summary

TfGM is seeking a Learning & Organisational Development Advisor to support colleagues across learning, development, talent and organisational development in the People Directorate, Greater Manchester. This permanent role covers learning systems, mandatory learning, performance management, training budgets, e-learning, and induction.

The role offers progression from Band 5 to greater autonomy (Band 6), with hybrid working options and a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in learning or organisational development support within a People function.
• Strong organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Autonomy, analysis, stakeholder influence, and ownership of workstreams (Band 6 level).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, accurate L&D service covering learning systems, records, compliance, and performance management.
• Oversee budgets, reporting, e-learning, induction, engagement, apprenticeships and early careers.
• Support both L&D and Organisational Development teams and collaborate with HR and external providers.
