Job summary

Transport for Greater Manchester is seeking a Learning & Organisational Development Advisor to support learning, development, talent and OD activity across the People Directorate. You’ll manage learning systems and records, mandatory training, performance management, training budgets, reporting, e-learning, induction and engagement initiatives.

This permanent role offers progression from Band 5 to Band 6, with flexible, hybrid working options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience providing learning, training or organisational development support within a professional People function.
• Ability to coordinate competing priorities and work with HR systems.
• Strong reporting skills and handling sensitive information appropriately.
• Experience with LMS/e-learning, training coordination, performance management, budgets or suppliers, engagement, apprenticeships or early careers.
• Evidence of autonomy, analysis, stakeholder influence and ownership at higher levels may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive learning and organisational development support across the function.
• Manage learning systems, records, mandatory training and reporting.
• Coordinate budgets, procurement and engagement activities for learning programmes.
• Support L&D and OD teams, and collaborate with internal and external providers.
