Job summary

The Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) is seeking a Learning Mentor for Highfield Junior and Infant School. You will join a strong pastoral team to support pupils' welfare and academic progress, mentoring individuals and working with families and staff to create a positive learning environment.

We value collaboration, inclusivity and a coaching approach, with opportunities for professional development within the MAT. The role is term-time, with 36.5 hours per week across the school day.

The Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) wish to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our extensive Pastoral team based at Highfield Junior and School. As a mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils' welfare and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mentoring to pupils, focusing on their personal and academic development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive learning environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
• Be responsible for supporting with whole school behaviour, attendance and safeguarding
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress, ensuring they receive the necessary support.
