Job summary

Chellaston Academy in East Midlands is seeking a caring Learning Mentor to support students who need help thriving academically, socially and emotionally. This hands-on role sits within the Tapestry Learning Partnership with a focus on inclusion, care and excellence.

You’ll work closely with pupils, families and staff to remove barriers, deliver targeted support, monitor progress and promote resilience. We value well-being, high standards and ongoing professional development to help every child

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with social, emotional or learning barriers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring to students.
• Monitor and track student progress and liaise with teachers and families.
• Support wellbeing and behaviour strategies across the school.
