Prospero Teaching is seeking Teaching Assistants with a sports coaching background to support pupils with SEMH in an Alternative Provision in Ashington. The role is full-time, long-term, and starts ASAP, focusing on building positive relationships and helping pupils progress and stay engaged in learning.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, identifying individual learning needs and adapting activities with classroom staff to support pupils aged 11–19, depending on need and skill-set.

Qualificações

• Sports coaching background to support SEMH learners.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Experience working with children in UK schools is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to progress and engage in lessons.
• Adapt to different learning needs and teaching styles within the classroom.
• Work closely with class teachers and colleagues to plan and deliver activities.
• Support pupils aged 4–19 with SEMH and challenging behaviour as needed.
