Job summary

United Response is seeking a Learning Mentor at ROC College in Bodmin to support 16–25 year olds with EHCPs. You will help develop life skills across campuses and community settings, assess progress, and provide accredited learning through a personalised curriculum.

The role requires PBS expertise, experience with complex learning needs and willingness to train in Proloquo2 and Makaton. 37.5 hours weekly, term-time only; £13.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with SEND and complex learning needs.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practices.
• Ability to tailor accessible education content for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor students aged 16–25 with EHCPs in the community and campus settings.
• Assess progress and help deliver accredited learning through personalised curriculum.
• Assist independence and arrange work experience placements for learners.
