Job summary

Royal Greenwich is recruiting a Learning Mentor for Wingfield Primary School, London SE3. The role is permanent, 39 weeks per year, 35 hours per week, 8:30–16:00. You will work with teaching staff to address barriers to learning and support children’s social, emotional and mental health needs. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Experience with children and a commitment to inclusive education are valued, with DBS checks and safeguarding integral to the Trust ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with pupils with social, emotional or behavioural needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support children to overcome barriers to learning and reach potential.
• Assist with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with SENCO and teachers and families.
