Job summary

Featherby Partnership Schools in Medway is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support pupils facing barriers to learning. You will provide targeted mentoring, pastoral support and guidance, building trusted relationships to help children develop confidence, resilience and academic and social-emotional skills.

Working with teachers, families and external agencies, you will create personalised support plans, contribute to a safe, inclusive environment, and support transitions across the school

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children's social and emotional needs in a school setting.
• Ability to deliver individual and small group mentoring sessions.
• Capable of developing personalised support plans for pupils.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with identified pupils and provide encouragement and support.
• Deliver individual and small group mentoring sessions focused on wellbeing and learning barriers.
• Develop, implement and review personalised support plans for each pupil.
• Promote resilience, independence and positive attitudes toward learning.
• Support pupils through key transitions and collaborate with families and external agencies.
• Contribute to an inclusive school environment where every child can flourish.
