Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking an experienced Mayflower Assistant and Learning Mentor to support students in Plymstock School's Alternative Provision Base. You will work closely with the Inclusion Team to mentor learners facing SEMH challenges and reintegration back to mainstream教育.

The role is full-time, term-time (37 hours/week for 39 weeks per annum) with a salary in the lower £21k range, subject to pay award. This position requires safeguarding checks and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment checks.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support students within the Mayflower Assistant and Learning Mentor role.
• Facilitate learning and assist reintegration into mainstream education.
• Work with the Inclusion Team and SENDCo to support pupils with SEMH needs and attendance barriers.
