Job summary

John Ray Junior School is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor/HLTA to join our Pastoral Team and Teaching Staff. You will support children academically and emotionally, identifying needs and putting supportive strategies in place to enable learning and inclusion.

The role requires GCSEs in Maths and English; HLTA qualification is desirable but training can be given. You will cover classes to allow teachers time for subject leadership and CPD, working with colleagues to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• HLTA qualification desirable; training available.
• Able to work as part of a Pastoral and Teaching Team.
• Excellent verbal communication and written English.
