Job summary

Kidbrooke Park Primary School is seeking a Learning Mentor/HLTA to join the Pastoral Team and Teaching Staff. The role is 30 hours per week, term time only plus two training days, with an actual salary of £19,574.41 – £20,542.59 and a full-time equivalent of £28,608 – £30,023.

You will support children academically and emotionally, and may cover classes as needed to support teachers. Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• HLTA qualification desirable but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support children academically, emotionally and socially.
• Cover classes as HLTA to free teachers for subject leadership/CPD.
• Collaborate with Pastoral and Teaching Teams to implement supportive strategies.
