Job summary

ROC College at United Response is seeking a Learning Mentor to support 16-25 students with EHCPs in community-based settings across Exeter. You will help develop life skills, assess progress, and deliver accessible education content tailored to individual needs.

The role is 30 hours per week, term-time only, with opportunities for training and career progression. Experience with SEND, PBS, and alternative communication methods like Proloquo2 and Makaton is highly valued; travel across the

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with SEND.
Patient, supportive, enthusiastic and creative.
Willingness to travel across the community with students.
Ability to support independence and access to work experience.

Responsibilities

Support students aged 16-25 with EHCPs to develop life skills.
Assess progress and provide accredited learning based on personalised curriculum.
Deliver accessible education content tailored to our students.
Work as part of a small team to support daily learning activities.
