Job summary

Ilkley Grammar School is seeking a Learning Facilitator to support vulnerable students and promote wellbeing. You will work with Attendance, pastoral and Inclusive Learning teams to raise achievement within a high-performing, 11-18 comprehensive school.

The role requires experience supporting secondary students, building positive relationships, and calm, resilient handling of complex needs, with a commitment to safeguarding and collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting secondary school students, particularly those with additional needs or barriers to learning.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships and motivate students.
• Calm, patient and resilient, with the confidence to manage students with their learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the achievement and wellbeing of vulnerable students.
• Work closely with the Attendance Team, pastoral teams and Inclusive Learning team.
• Collaborate with staff, families and external professionals to provide coordinated support.
