Leeds College of Building in the United Kingdom is seeking a Learning Facilitator to support groups of students and provide technical assistance with machinery, maintenance and workshop upkeep.
You will carry out demonstrations, teach basic craft techniques, ensure health and safety compliance and help learners progress to their qualification.
Ideal candidates will have industrial experience and be NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in education/training considered preferable.

As a Learning Facilitator you will be required to assist and support groups of students, together with providing technical support in all aspects relating to maintenance and general upkeep of machinery and the workshop area. In addition you will be asked to carry out demonstrations for students and provide instruction on basic craft techniques as required. Therefore the ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults and enthusiasm to help them achieve their qualification is essential. Duties include ensuring all machines and equipment are maintained, serviced, changed and prepared in accordance with manufacturers and health/safety requirements., The College reserves the right to close this vacancy early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
