Job summary

Leeds College of Building is seeking a Learning Facilitator to support groups of students and provide technical assistance in maintenance and workshop operations. You will demonstrate basic craft techniques and deliver instruction to help learners achieve qualifications, while ensuring machines meet safety and service standards.

The role requires relevant industrial experience and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with desirable experience in education/training and skills demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults.
• Willingness to demonstrate skills and provide instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support groups of students in the workshop.
• Provide demonstrations and instruction on basic craft techniques.
• Maintain, service and prepare machines and equipment in line with health and safety requirements.
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming environment and support learning in the workshop.
