Job summary

Leeds College of Building in the United Kingdom is seeking a Learning Facilitator to support groups of students and provide technical assistance with machinery, maintenance and workshop upkeep.

You will carry out demonstrations, teach basic craft techniques, ensure health and safety compliance and help learners progress to their qualification.

Ideal candidates will have industrial experience and be NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in education/training considered preferable.

Qualifications

• Industrial experience in relevant trade or industry.
• Experience working in educational/training capacity desirable.
• Salary stated as £30,246 - £32,006 per year.

Responsibilities

• Assist groups of students and support their learning.
• Provide technical support for maintenance and setup of workshop machinery.
• Carry out demonstrations for students and instruct on basic craft techniques.
• Ensure all machines and equipment are maintained, serviced and safe to use.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and college policies.
