ETF Foundation seeks a Learning Design Officer to design, deliver and continuously improve high-quality digital and blended learning across its professional development portfolio.

Under the Learning Design Manager, you will craft engaging, accessible courses, align with ETF standards, and support LMS content within a learner-centered approach. The role emphasises quality, scalability and evidence-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing online learning and digital content across formats.
• Understanding of instructional design, digital pedagogy and user experience.
• Ability to translate complex subject matter into engaging, accessible learning materials.
• Experience with LMS platforms and content authoring tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop online, blended and asynchronous learning programmes and resources.
• Apply instructional design to create inclusive, accessible content; define outcomes and sequencing.
• Develop digital materials including scripts, storyboards, assessments and multimedia briefs.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to align content with standards and pedagogy.
• Build, upload and maintain courses in the LMS; support updates and QA.
• Support improvements to learner experience via feedback, analytics and testing.
• Contribute to course QA processes; use evaluation findings for enhancements.
• Support project delivery and coordinate development activity within workstreams.
• Ensure content and data management processes are optimised across platforms.
